R4 and R4 DS Cards

Gamers are a very competitive breed and they will vocally back or berate a product like the R4 with ease if pushed to it. There are literally thousands of websites, blogs, forums and sites dedicated to the gamer's obsession with the R4. There will always be discussion for and against the brand with some gamers preferring the M3 or The Edge, but it does seem that majority of the positive talk is aimed at the R4.

However, there has been some suggestion that the R4 will soon disappear off the shop shelves. This is in relation to Nintendo making renewed attempts to remove the product from the market. If this does eventuate what will the gamers do without it? The M3 and The Edge will surely be targeted after the R4 and so these alternatives will not be available either. Perhaps it is time that Nintendo created a product that is similar to the R4 themselves.

At this stage, without the R4 though, it is likely that true fans will abandon Nintendo all together and move on to other console makers like Xbox and Playstation.

Once again Sony has stepped up to the plate by creating a new form of technology which fits into the memory card market. Sony has been behind in the technological race for sometime but has recently added to its repertoire of products creating memory cards in a range of formats. You can easily update your R4 SDHC. Once finished downloading you will decompress the new updated files, you will see moonshell folder and two files. You will copy these files to the root directory of TF card to replace the former files.
